Family with children, a solid choice
The breakfast was massive, like a feast, I mean—so many options, I was astonished! ! the owner Clark, he was a real gem, helped us out with the car parking situation and was super accommodating.
Sure, it wasn’t inexpensive, but still, I'd say it was decent enough for what we got.

The breakfast spread is impressively extensive, featuring everything from fresh cold meats to pancakes and a full cooked option. The spacious rooms come equipped with ample electric sockets, tea and coffee facilities, and TVs.
For those who prefer more modern accommodations, the decor feels dated and could use a refresh. I found the furniture somewhat worn, and while the beds were clean, they lacked plush comfort, which might not suit everyone’s taste. the guests can experience some noise from fellow travelers due to the building's older structure, but it largely depends on who’s around during your stay.

the staff were super nice and went out of their way for a special request. the view from our window was amazin and the beds were real comfy, just the right firmness. lots of restaurants and pubs nearby, and it’s a nice walkable distance to the royal mile. you can also catch a bus easily if u prefer.
the hotel was a bit outdated and the dining area was closed, which was kinda disappointing. also, the wifi was really poor in our room.
